Course Description

This course is designed for deaf interpreting students, who are interested in becoming a sign language interpreter (deaf interpreter). The course will introduce the basic principles of translation and amalgamate theory and practice. The goal will be to produce and identify literal and dynamically translated target texts. Students will also have the opportunity to learn fundamental linguistics and apply that to their translation work.
